Jack Nicklaus, known as the “Golden Bear,” is the name behind Pecanwood’s golf course that has been carefully crafted to test your skills to the fullest. The fairways are generous and inviting and the greens are immaculate all year round. Although the course is flat, the 111 well positioned bunkers ensure that it offers a good challenge to golfers of all abilities. The greens feature Crenshaw bent grass, which is extremely resilient and can therefore always be cut low and fast.

Strategic landforms, carefully crafted water features, and strategically placed bunkers have been set amid the scenic mountain surrounds and vast expanse of water to add to the overall experience.

The picturesque Magaliesberg and Hartbeespoort dams create the scenic backdrop for Pecanwood Golf & Country Club, offering residents on the estate and its numerous members a peaceful escape in a luxurious setting. Just a 40-minute drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria, Pecanwood Golf & Country Club is the ideal escape from the bustle of city life.

Pecanwood Golf & Country Club has earned numerous accolades for its Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, ranking most recently in Complete Golfer’s top-10, as well as receiving a five-star “golf experience” award.
